In A Taste of the Absurd, I explore how our daily consumption has extended far beyond food. We binge on content, tragedy, identity, and spectacle until the line between nourishment and numbness is no longer clear. Brains, hearts, and eyeballs become ingredients packaged, plated, and aestheticised, served up like fries and lasagna on a checkered diner tablecloth.
The work mirrors our world: a place where grief trends online, voyeurism is casual, and feelings are canned and branded for easy digestion. It’s absurd, yes but so is the reality we’re part of.
This is satire with a sugar-high. It’s grotesque pop.
Welcome to the buffet.
